SPAM Filter Configuration for Outlook Express

The
following instructions will assist you in configuring your e-mail client to
process the messages flagged by the Webfodder SPAM filter. The instructions
below apply to Microsoft Outlook Express. Follow the instructions below to
configure Outlook Express:
1. Open Outlook Express. Right-click on "Local Folders" and Select "New
Folder...".

2. Enter "SPAM" as the Folder name, and select "Local Folders" in the lower
pane. Click "OK".

3. Select "Tools > Message Rules > Mail..." from the main menu.
4. Click "New...".
5. In the upper pane, check the box next to "Where the Subject line contains
specific words" then click the link on "specific words".

6. Enter "SPAM-" in the text entry box. Do not enter the quotes, but
otherwise enter it exactly as listed. Click "Add". Your entry should now look
like the illustration below. Click "OK".

7. In the middle pane, check the box next to "Move it to the specified
folder" then click the link on "specified".

8. Select your newly created "SPAM" folder and click "OK".

9. In the bottom text entry box enter a name for your new SPAM filter such as
"SPAM Filter" and click "OK".
10. Your entry should now look like the illustration below. Click "OK".

11. Click "OK" and you're done! Messages that are suspected to be SPAM will
now be placed in the SPAM folder automatically. You can review these message
periodically before deleting them to make sure no valid messages are discarded.
